Childcare Centre – Auburn

This single-storey childcare centre accommodates 70 children, including the construction of basement car parking to service the centre. The site has a single frontage and is located on the eastern side of Ettalong Street. Ramp access design was also provided, redesigning the original to perpetuate a design that is reflective of the surrounding streetscape and context of the area. The ramp is now located towards the southern end of the site and represents a more compact and sympathetic solution. The proposed design no longer dominates the front façade, but rather, complements the low scale character of its surroundings.
